The shopping cart in the photo store now offers images without a zip package. The download starts when you click the Buy button in the lower right corner of the shopping cart.
After this, the browser will ask for confirmation of the download during the first download. You must click Allow. The browser (Chrome / Edge) will remember this choice and in the future, the download will start when you click the Buy button. Your Windows operating system may open a Save as window, from which you can click Save. Note! If you have purchased, for example, 4 images, this Save window will open four times. In practice, four files will be saved in a row.
Problematic situations:
If you have not answered the Chrome/Edge browser question during the download, the browser may block the image downloads. This can be seen from the small red check mark that appears on the right edge of the browser's address bar. It looks similar to pop-up blocker.
When you click on it, you can allow downloads from the lehtikuva.fi site. Select “Always allow” or “Always allow” from this menu.
If the download is not successful and the little red cross does not appear in the address bar, you must go to the browser settings to give consent to the downloads.
Allowing automatic downloads in Edge
Select the browser Settings/ Settings behind the three dots:
From the menu that opened up, please select
1. Cookies and site permissions / Cookies and site permissions.
2. Scroll down the menu that opens and select Automatic downloads / automatic downloads. In this menu, you must give permission for automatic downloads by pressing the top button on the right.
You can also check here if you have allowed the lehtikuva.fi website to perform automatic downloads. You can add consent by pressing the Add button and typing lehtikuva.fi
Enabling automatic downloads in Chrome
Click on the menu in the upper right corner

3. Open Site Settings
4. Under Permissions, select Additional Permissions
5. Select Automatic Download
This menu may be difficult to find, but you can get there by copying the following line, pasting it into your browser's address bar, and pressing enter:
chrome://settings/content/automaticDownloads
In this menu you can allow the browser to ask for automatic downloads (the top circled item). Selecting this should be enough and the next time you download, you will see the menu shown at the top of this guide and you can select Allow from it.
Another option is to give the browser an exception to download multiple images at once from the lehtikuva.fi website. Click Add and enter lehtikuva.fi
